I've not heard of it, is it to do with processing (mech or non-mech) or distribution?

It's something to do with Sony - you give them all your credit card details and they pass them on to criminals to spend your money.

It's something to do with your leave being changed to hours instead of days and your line manager being responsible for leave, sick etc.

Knowing RM, they'll slip it in the back door and only tell us AFTER the event....
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

Personal Share Portfolio- You will no longer be paid in money for working for Royal Mail but will be given shares in the company in return for your labour. The value of these shares will go down as you get older. You will only be able to cash them in on retirement when if they have a negative value you can pay Royal Mail back on a weekly basis. Should you die from stress and exhaustion prior to retirement, any negative value can be passed on to your loved ones. In the unlikely event of the shares being positive in either event of death or retirement, the full value will be paid into the executive directors slush fund.

Don't tell the CWU, they'll adopt that as Plan B.

PSP = People Systems Programme

It is a new HR system which replaces all the existing ones used for Payroll, Personnel, Accident etc etc.

Ii is being rolled out in stages - first to get it is Northern Ireland and Central Admin people.

It's supposed to be all singing and will allow individuals to be able to access their own info and details directly.

Time will tell how good it is in reality.

It's totally useless if we don't know about it, we haven't even got a web site to go to :crazy: again it's useless management that are to blame for this, a letter would help to tell us where to go and how to actually access it (even put it on the wage slips).

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
