A couple of enthusiasts explore the hidden world of mothballed stations
most of which inaccessible from the surface
due to hotels etc that have been built,
on the sites of former sorting offices .

its an interesting article...
but i have to wonder about the security at RM sites if these people have gained access to tunnels that lead right under (and provide access to Mount Pleasant) office

Such is the problem with underground railways, and the greater the access the more likelyhood of something terrible like the July bombings a few years back.

The team involved have said in the article that return will be impossible for them
as the "opening" they exploited has been firmly sealed!

Im much more interested in the possible real estate value of unused tunnels under London.
there must uses... for somebody with imagination.
storage? wine cellars? shopping malls!
These tunnels are i believe at a shallower depth than the tube.
and there are miles of them.

I had been searching this particular discussion board for the past couple days and finally decided to sign up for. In order to comply with discussion board guidelines I made a decision to introduce personally.
