Share in Sucess finished about 3 or 4 years ago IIRC.

As people have pointed out there is a 50% payout on the Colleagueshares this year but no way will that be £1200 - based on previous years payouts a 100% payout would be just over £1k - also again based on previous years its around Apr May that we actually end up getting it.

I heard a rumour that it is just over £15 000 and will be paid next week.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Back to reality, a bloke who retired last year said they paid his shares out and he got £1300 for the lot.

Thats before the revaluation which is going on at the moment. I stand by my prediction from 2007 when RMC first discussed this. http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... res#p13765" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

At best Adam and Al are being disingenuous and at worst its fiddling the books so they don't have to give us a decent pay rise for 5 years.

What's the betting that for 4 years we'll be doing so good that it will be exactly as they say and the dividends will be excellent. Then surprise surprise in the final year they value shoots down and they don't have to pay quite as much as we were expecting.

Last valuation they were worth £1.51 each I think. With Rm predicting another fantastic loss [goes to show how great their revision is] I suspect they will drop in value below that figure. I guessing another 20p drop to follow the trend of thier previous loss in value, although I think that was made after they reported a profit?
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

They may need to be carefull what they value them at. To low and the goverment wont be able to get a decent price for us. To high ( to attract a buyer) and they wont be able to pay it out. Think about it!

We were told in our WTL&L session this week that you'll get HALF this year and HALF next year...

No idea on figures though - suppose RM have to "make a few up" before screwing us again!!!

Although somebody did hear a rumour of £500.
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.
