recognising a postie's excellence

Post by marytap »

Hello
I am Mary and the Secretary of the local village society. Our village is blessed by what must be the best postie around. She is always efficient, cheerful, friendly and helpful in the extreme. We would like to know if there is a procedure within the Post Office to award excellence to its employees. I have checked on the website but do not seem able to find the means to do this.
Regards - Mary Appleby - Morton Village Society.

Royal Mail do 1st Class People's award but I am not sure how people go about nominating posties for it.

However, you could try writing to Moya Greene, our new CEO at 148 Old Street London, EC1V 9HQ and her Delivery Office Manager at Keighley Delivery Office , Oakworth Road, Keighley BD21 1QA, just to make them aware of her commitment.

Thank you very much though for trying to bring recognition of a posties hard work to others, It is very much appreciated on here.
