Mail from the UK delayed by snow and freezing conditions during December is continuing to arrive in the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
Guernsey Post said the Royal Mail was working hard to clear the backlog and aimed to be back on schedule this week.
However, it said it was still receiving mail that was posted over the Christmas period.
Boley Smillie, chief executive, said he wanted to assure islanders mail was being processed as quickly as possible.
