The LA Galaxy are already feeling the Beckham effect if their trials to find new players at the weekend are anything to go by.

Nearly 800 new players from around the world turned up to watched over by the Galaxy’s coaches though Beckham wasn’t in attendance.

The players were given the chance to impress during a series of seven a-side matches with over 20 countries represented.

Many turned up with honest intentions but many were just there because of Beckham’s signing for the club.

According to the Guardian the attendees included a postman from Blackpool.......
