northwest distrabution centre...is it open!!

hiya i waiting for items from amazon should of been delivered 4th january, all tracking details say its stuck at northwest distrabution centre since 5th january!!
just been to my local sorting office, to see if they could help....they didnt even know where it was!!!!,
is there such a place????? if so does anyone work there!!!!
can anyone give me any help to get my parcel???,,,,,,,please!!!

However, its unlikely to still be there. Rumours are that there has been a lot more tracked items in the system that RM ever thought there would be (but not posties) so some DCs and MCs have suspended scanning tracked items. It is likely to be somewhere in the DO but as they deal with literally 1,000s each day (depending on area they cover) its unlikely they can locate it until they attempt delivery.
My advice would be to hang on till the end of this week and then escalate it through the sender, if its Amazon they sometimes upgrade the dispatch and send it Next Day delivery if you have been waiting a while.
