Royal Mail post bag stolen in Ware

A ROYAL Mail post bag was stolen in Ware.

The incident took place in Hampden Hill between 11.15am and 11.30am last Wednesday (December 1) when a postman left his bike leaning up against a post box with the post bag attached to it.

Offenders approached the bike and removed the post bag before making off in an unknown direction.

Police community support officer Rachel Jones said: “Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the stated times or did you see anyone walking around with a post bag that did not look like a postman? Any information you provide could help us to solve this crime.”
