Do 318's still exist? In our office we have all manner of different contracts e.g. 40, 30, 22.5 hours. The part-timers always end up doing all kinds of walks. Nothing is written down for the duties which causes 9deliberate?) confusion as to what people can claim in hours and allowances. I suspect this is a nasty mixture of cock-up and conspiracy.

Does anyone have any views of advice on how to get what the duty entails in a written form?

318s do exist your area manager is talking s**t! demand to see yours. if your rep wont deal with it ring cwu head quarters. remember we are in the middle of a national dispute so get everyone in your office doing the job properly and bring the mail back if they have to!!!

Apparently according to the area manager, 318s ceased to exist under the new way forward agreament. Ours ceased to exist when our local managers stole them of our frames.

Oh look another blatant lie from a dum, how unusual . . . . . . of course 318's still exist, how else would we all know what we're supposed to do on a daily basis. . . . . fact is most dums want them hidden away 'coz they know if we follow what they say we just can't get it all done . . . . . if they won't show you a 318 just ask exactly what your duty content is. . . . . . so I say, yet again, do the job properly, follow the 318, use the provided equiptment, follow health and safety guidelines, take your breaks and finish on time
