Jersey politicians are considering whether to allow another postal company to operate in the island.

The Competition Scrutiny Review panel will discuss the issue with the Treasury Minister and Managing Director of Jersey Post over the next few weeks.

The chairman, Deputy Shona Pitman, says a second company could have 'significant consequences' on future postal services to the business community and on Jersey Post.
