Firefighters have been scrambled from across Tayside to help deal with the worst floods to hit Perth in many years.

Parts of the city woke up under water as a result of heavy overnight rain, and more downpours throughout Wednesday morning did nothing to improve the situation.
Many businesses and homes in the town centre were badly affected, particularly those with cellars, while the whole Fairfield housing estate was virtually cut off for several hours.
As much as 8cm of rain accumulated in some parts of Perth, with more problems in outlying areas.
The Tayside Fire and Rescue control room was inundated with callouts, and appliances from Dundee and other areas were drafted into the Fair City to help deal with the crisis.
