UPDATE BY THE COMMUNICATION WORKERS UNION ON THE ROYAL MAIL POSTAL DISPUTE

The Communication Workersâ€™ Union Postal Executive have met this afternoon and have taken the decision to escalate the level of strike action due to the lack of progressive discussions with Royal Mail.

As Royal Mail have made it clear they are unwilling to engage in meaningful negotiations, the postal executive will meet this evening and tomorrow morning to plan a programme of strike action.

The dates announced tomorrow will be strategically selected in order to maximise disruption to all Royal Mail services.

If the union goes down this path then the damage to Royal Mail will be significant. People will start changing their minds about the dumbass strategy of Hayes and Ward if this carries on much longer

Whats the answer then mate? As much as i hate the strikes, you have got to remember that dumb and dumber are purely looking out for themselves and their own future, do you think they will both be at RM in 2 years? They dont give a toss and are loaded and will move onto other things, its all a game to them , the last straw for me was when leighton couldnt be arsed to even turn up to what was a MASSIVELY important meeting about the future of RM, he 'attended' by conference call, DISGUSTING!!!!
