Trying to get a day off on A/Leave

Post by madelin4 »

Been asking my manager to have a look at hol list to book a few odd days off and was told this morning he had no time 2 look!!! im rage, the day before i filled out a form to go to see EHS as being moved to the driving duty here and there i was getting a sore shoulder from getting in and out as not used to it, so i dont think he was 2 happy about that and he is just being akward!!! its getting me stressed all this!!!! :mad

When you come back off duty is probably the best time to ask as they have nothing to do then (or before). In our office it is printed and pined up on the board ,as well as on his computer so all you do is have a look in the morning and write it in if there are any free days/weeks. At the end of the week they take it down and update the computer. Normally there are very few slots, so if someone cancels a holiday you have to jump in mighty quick. :Very Happy :Very Happy

Not a DOMS job..

Post by L Tommo »

The Job for A/L. Is a Old PHG's job. and Your bookroom or Duty holder/s of the office job should be doing it... So your A/L should be on show for all.. If not then ask your Postie who does the 318 and leave forms, As this is a Duty holders duty as far as any office ive heard of.... Its not a DOMS job to keep thew A/L spread away from anyone.. Its your right to know when you can book your Leave,,, They soon come running when you have leave owed and want you to take it , when you dont want it.. Happend to me in my old DO... Ask your Rep in your office or area rep if not happy.... Madelin.. The Dom can not issue a days leave if the spread is full.. But then you can get a DR's note or any reason for your day/s off and put in a disagreement in. thru your Union rep.. If that dont work,, Put in a Grievence against your DOM..... You are entitled to days off, Check if there is any casuals in covering duties and use this.. As thenj RM can use another to cover you... Hope you get what you want out of this Madelin.. And dont let them get to you dear...... They are only jumped up shiney arsed bullyboys n girls.... We are better than them.. They just dont know it YET!!!

OUT....

You should see the toys come flying out of the pram in our office! I don't suppose any of us should be surprised at that. When our DUM finishes work he goes home and plays with his train set. No crap! He's got a train set and his kids aren't allowed near it.

Look Dave! There's you on the left playing with yer bloody trains! :nana :nana :nana
