Re: Total Flexability
Giving management full control and total flexibility = they're getting one kettle each, so they can drink coffee at ANY time of day or night

IMO this means start times will be aligned to the volume of mail, so for example later starts on Tuesday than Thursday. Basically a do as you're told, work when you're told mentality, can't wait

Re: Total Flexability
Total crap but if they do get total flexablity the union better getting more reps in for the bullying and harassing that will go on in each do's and mail centres. I'm glad i go back to uni at the end of the year. I'm still to see the deal but me thinks our union is out of touch with its merry man.

Re: Total Flexability
Who's to say that your DOM isn't yanking your chain? Sounds like the type of mind games they play, especially if they think they can get away with it - you will need to go through the agreement with a fine toothcomb, then if he mentions flexibility or any other crap like it again, ask him to quote the relevent part of the agreement and if he can't tell him to poke his flexibility up his aris!
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Re: Total Flexability
Flexability was part of the 2007 agreement, in our office we already have shorter Mondays, Tuesday, longer, saturdays. Also Night Staff if behind with work have to stay up to 30 minutes beyond their finish time , then start 30 minutes later the next day .
