I'll tell you as Postman did'nt watch it He had a packet for Max, no answer so he took it home. IB were sitting outside Max's house watching. Then the LM turned up with IB at the posties house to do a search.

It would be interesting,ok it probably wouldn't,to see,even though i don't watch,it how this pans out.
They would no doubt of had RM advisers help on it.
In time honored fashion it wouldn't mirror real life,not that i know it doesn't,as i don't watch it.

Since I did not watch it, someone told me it was just the IB and the line manager. I do not think they can just 'walk in' and demand a search. I queried this with the person that watched it but they assure me no police were in the episode.
IB do not have the automatic right to a search warrant and certainly not without the police there.

Why did he not leave a notice left and take away the packet? Postman told me later in the episode he actually goes somewhere else and hands the packet over to the receiver (sorry don't know the names of these people as I do not watch it). Also the IB already targeted the postie via 'allegations', so the walking away with the packet raised eyebrows.
