FIREFIGHTERS were called to the Royal Mail sorting office in Crewe yesterday (Tuesday) to deal with a cooker fire.
Two fire engines from Crewe attended the Weston Road site and discovered the fire on the second floor.
They smothered the flames and removed the fuel to put out the blaze which occurred at 7.20am.
