FIRE crews were called to the Royal Mail office in Berwyn Street, Llangollen yesterday morning as a precautionary measure after a fault developed in power cables in the cellar.
No fire developed but the building was left without heating or lighting for the rest of the day.
A spokesman for Royal Mail said the fault was rectified during the afternoon and that today’s deliveries to addresses in the LL20 postcode area would not be affected
