Southport crash chaos leaves Royal Mail van wedged between lamp post and garden wall

A ROAD traffic accident left a Royal Mail van sandwiched between a lamp post and a garden wall this evening in Southbank road, Southport.

The mail van appeared to be have collided with a another vehicle, which was left stranded in the middle of the road leaking petrol.

Both vehicles suffered serious damage in the accident, and car parts were left strewn all over the road.

Merseyside Police attended the scene and officers were seen diverting traffic past the scene of the accident, which took place at around 6pm this evening.

I'm surprised RM did'nt inform the police about the new pouch box.
