whats your price? ££££

Post by hubbahubba »

How much EVR would be enough to get you to leave? Was talking to a friend who's done roughly as long as me (15yrs+).I was thinking how much per year of service. Not sure if its something like 4weeks for every year?Another friend with 10yrs in,just jacked it in out of nowhere on saturday! I am sure that RM is being run into the ground on purpose,so that they can sell it off cheap  ,dont think it matters which party is in power either, its in a sad old state, and i dont see much hope i'm afraid :pray :Boo hoo!
same as it ever was...

I agree that there is a hidden agenda, that RM is being deliberately run into the ground in order to be broken up and sold off cheaply... its just not possible that senior management can be so stupid, incompetent and out of touch.

I very much doubt R/m will pay 4 weeks for every year i bet it will be more like 1 week anyone in our office thats ever got a quote for EVR has laughed themselves out the DOMS office with the pathetic sum they were offered.

I'd consider a payoff on the same terms as the miners, dockers, BT employees or Ford workers got.

They got a grand a year, but that was years ago. I'd want more than that now.

My office ,Green lane m/c Stockport, officially closed on the 19/9/09 which was just over 2 weeks ago,my age is 49 and had done 20 years service mainly on nights. A lot of it depends on age at the time of the offer,I was lucky.

I'm not sure what it is now, but up until recently it was 3 weeks per year up until you've done 11 years service, then once you're past that it's 4 weeks wages per year. Some in my office who did 22-24ish years got around £30k.
