Packets left again

Post by Bendy72 »

A different week but the same old story.............

Van drivers made to do parts of other walks and told to leave their packets in the office .....plants , frlowers , first class recordeds etc.
4 yorkies full .

I kid you not but they will be there for days like a couple of weeks ago.
Packets dated 14 sept still in the office on 21 sept....1st class recordeds and plants that had withered and died and were just binned...
A total f...ing disgrace.
Dont know how these DIMs can sleep at night.
we love Parcels......
.....love backhealing them !!!

Get rep to take pics - keep them internal. Tell him to bring up at their weekly SI meeting. Works wonders :Very Happy

Have to say as far as I know there is nothing the rep can do about packets piling up except actually make a note of when and how many there are, and bring it to the attention of the DOM or Area Manager, whichever is the equivalent rank to them.

Beyond that they cannot do anything more than we as posties can.

Might this be because packets aren't covered by the USO in the same way as letters ?
