Lynns Postal workers get support from Postman Pat

POSTMAN PAT will be joining the postal workers picket line tomorrow at Lynn's Austin Fields sorting office.
Staff at the office are walking out from 1pm today until 1pm tomorrow as part of industrial action called as part of an on-going dispute between Royal Mail and the Communication Workers' Union.

In Lynn, a particular issue is the removal of night sorting duties and some delivery rounds which, the union says, will cause delays.

Postman Pat, who will be at the sorting office from 7.30am to noon, will be able to explain to the public how loss of delivery duties at Lynn's Royal Mail will affect mail services, a union spokesman said.
