Job and finish still in our office for the car users, start before their time and run round brigade. Although we still leave our packets for days at a time. manager has no B@LLS to do anything about it. :d'oh! :d'oh!

We were told much the same in our 'huddle' the other day after he told us the result of our ballot. Basically it was, 'your ballot result was Yes, but why are you striking like London, they have easy duties blah blah blah.'
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Well other than Tuesdays and some Saturdays I am working right to my time or cutting out (my delivery span is 3:30 to 3:40 long) , if you wish to believe the crap thats being fed from your managers mouth then thats up to you - they wish to cause unrest and divide and if you buy into that then I feel sorry for you. It's time to stand together regardless of our differences because if they haven't come to you yet trust me they soon will - there plan is to hit areas one by one to cause unrest and divide and now it's our chance to show them that we don't and will not buy into it - so lets stop infighting stand together get a massive result in favour of action and prey the cwu don't make the same mistakes as last time, there asses are on the line as much as ours now - this time we go back on our terms and conditions, make no mistake everyone this is our biggest fight yet - if they win this one then it's all over so stop bitching and start rallying, good luck to everyone.

Its like 2007 again SW17 - back then we got loads of the divide and conquer posts and we seem to be getting more than normal at the moment.

To be honest any thread that starts with these or similar titles should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Why does x office not lapse
Why does x have job and finish
Why do FT have an easier Job than Pts
Why do PT have easier jobs than FTs
Why don't drivers ---------
Why don't walkers ----------
Mail Centre have it easy.
Why don't deliveries work all paid hours

The posts may well be honest and posted by members in good faith, or they may be posted by people pretending to be posties to spread doom and gloom, there is, in truth, no way to tell so everyone has to use their intuition and common sense when reading them, and deciding their veracity, and ultimately whether to reply or not.

PMSL. 3HRS 20MINS would be the aveage day for my walk. Thursday and Friday we are a 2.30pm finish. if it wasn't a 2.30 finish I would be cutting off on those 2 days. Lapsing has been brought in by EA, on the days when we do laps we all stay back untill we are all ready to leave together. Average time we all leave is around 10am, by the time we get to our walks another 20mins or so has gone. I've not cut of as yet but around 50% of the office has on differnt days. The grass is no greener here in london.

You're obviously on the lower rate then!
It really is lovely down here in the smoke, I'm picked up from home and chauffer driven in to work, some days we just sign on and go home, our managers are really considerate making us cups of tea or coffee, when it's really hot outside they follow us around on our delivery carrying our 3kg delivery bags, gently fanning us and mopping our brows. sometimes if we only finish later than 2 hrs before our finishing time we are given 8hrs OT. :chuckle

You should see inside our office, we have a fully air-conditioned building luxurious massaging armchairs from which we do our sorting, as well as a HD tv with Sky TV built into our sorting frames and if it's a really heavy day we have little pixies ready to take over the sorting if we fancy a nap. :whistle
I'm off for 3 weeks now, going to stay in one of the 30 villas purchased through our 1st line fix fund in the Bahamas :wave
