any strikes next week

just wondered if any planned strikes for next week. as this weeks one was cancelled .

Today we served notice of strike action in London for next friday 7th August. All offices apart from W1 and WC who started strike action today and will return to work on Tuesday.

Next Friday a number of offices in Bristol will also be out , as well as a number of RDCs around the country. Scotland are out next saturday and Monday and Burslem will also be out next friday.

This dispute is growing , it needs to grow faster and the PEC need to set the date for the National Ballot.

London are due to take strike action on Wednesday 12th but we are meeting Monday to confrim , and co-ordinate with other areas in the UK.

Remember the Longer the dispute drags on the stronger we get and weaker Royal Mail get. Come September the work picks up and the managers dry up or have been burnt out and then it is our time and our strength. Royal Mail know that as much as we do thats why they have done all the bullying now in an attempt to force us out unoffical so they can starve us back.

But we have taken everything they can throw and we are still here hitting back and they are now panicing and not sure what to do especially as the National ballot timetable is coming next week and the media and government will go into overdrive !!

Scot no2 branch will be taking 24hr strike action from saturday 8th till mon 10th

Some VOC's are out on the 7th August. Main ones are the NDC, Coventry hub, Essex, Birmingham & obviously all of London.

Peterborough delivery office will be out from 6th August at 2300 until Monday 10th at 0600.
