Everyone all right?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Yeah flooding not far from me about 1.5miles - Rocky so high up in the hills though that if he's flooded I'll be underwater.

Rang Uniform Order Line but they don't do water wings, and I have to see DOM to get air tanks.Image

Fog on the M62 last night on the way to Halfax, but thankfully I haven't heard of any accidents.

Heard today on the radio, that a street in Sheffield was under 6ft of water, can anyone confirm?

Don't worry! The DOM has sent an order for goggles and flippers to the uniform branch.

It was absolutely belting down, had a few packets for this guy,who was actually waiting at the door, when i got there.
He then produced a fiver and said thanks for coming everyday, especially today.
I said thanks,but i can't accept,after all i'm just doing my job.
That act of kindness kept me going in horrendous conditions, and made me appreciate why i enjoy the job, unfortunately i can't say i
receive the same gratitude from my manager.

That's really cool rob :Applause Pat yourself on your back for that mate.
I was going to be given a fiver a couple of months or so ago from a gal who'd left her keys in the door.
I couldn't take it,"all part of the job madam" :Very Happy

God we're under appreciated

tbt you have to remember the thing about been high up in the hills is that the bloody rain hits you first, and hardest no buildings for shelter etc,any wat that walk of yours needs a good wash down
