Suspicious packages may be linked to Notts incident

POLICE believe a suspicious package found at Lincoln Crown Court could be linked to a similar incident at a Notts sorting office.

The court was closed for nearly three hours yesterday after the package was discovered at about 9.45am.

On Tuesday hundreds of workers had to be evacuated from the Royal Mail sorting office in Padge Road, Beeston, after suspicious packages were found. The packages were all harmless.

Notts Police are leading the investigation and are investigating possible links.
