London Industrial action ballot timetable

Post by Martin Walsh »

All London Branch Secretaries and Area reps will meet on thursday to agree the time table to ballot all London Divisonal Members totalling 14000 for strike action over Royal Mail`s breaking of national agreements including MTSF and the IR framework and in pursance of a national agreement which ensures that full time jobs in all parts of the industrail are protected and that we have a national agreement on the future of mail centres , Professional drivers , RDCs and delivery staff.

In our view if you believe in national agreements you have to now fight for them . Thats what we intend to do in London. We hope others will join us it really is now or never.

well done london for your ballot but lets see how many other ballots come in from all over the country as where i am doing the job safely is going very well but its seems to me that royal mail want to take us all on not just london and i only hope that the division i am in and london and scotland are not the only ones putting up a fight.
