ROYAL Mail’s proposal to close the Tidworth mail collection office at Kohat Road has been condemned by local councillors.
Tidworth’s county councillor, Mark Connolly, said: “ I am appalled there has been no consultation on the sorting office closure.
“The Post Office is supposed to be a public service, not a public inconvenience. Giving a month's notice of closure is just unacceptable."
Postmaster Steve Dagger in Pennings Road, said: “This is going to cause huge inconvenience for people who will have to go to Bulford.”
