Lets all have bonuses

Are we wise to be knocking bankers bonuses? Perhaps we should be taking a leaf from their vellum bible!

Lets spread the bonus culture in the Vale and reward other worthy workers.

Shopkeepers, who don’t drop their tins of beans when shelf stacking.
Hospital trolley porters, for a year without banging into corridor walls.
Teachers, for working hard at their Sats test targets.
Social workers, for remaining patient and attentive all the year round.
Builders, for laying all their bricks straight.
Carpenters, for not using warped wood.
Milkmen, for never spilling their milk bottles.
Posties, for always walking straight and never staggering.
Market gardeners, for not cutting asparagus too late
and pensioners like me, for not moaning too much about the mess politicians and the banks have gotten us into.

You can clearly see that we all have worked very hard and thus earned our bonuses, just like the bankers. We could all then join them in splashing out on the champagne trail.
