Turned up at this house once at my old DO,Sat morn, obviously they had been out on the lash the night before.
All over the steps and up the garden path was loose change, picked it all up,was about a fiver in all
I was gonna knock but it was early

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I found a £20 note just before last Christmas. Thinking it might be someones last few bob, I took it to the cop shop. I was told to keep it since it was unlikely anyone would call in to see if it had been found. Let me tell you, McEwans Champion is a fine drop of ale.

I've found the odd burnt out car (5 at last count), loads of sofas and chairs in gardens and on the playgrounds. Loads of used needles, and the odd drunk. Once did have a delivery where an armed siege was going on as well. Wish I was on your rounds.
