A WOMANH cashed a giro in her sister’s name after stealing a letter containing the cheque from a postman.
Emma McGill admitted thieving the letter, addressed to Wendy McGill, from postman Alan McKean at 44 Fereneze Crescent in Hamilton on June 14 this year.
The 25-year-old, of Kirkton Avenue, High Blantyre, also pleaded guilty to forging her sister’s signature and presenting the giro to a Hamilton post office to get £95.90 in cash.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court last week Sheriff David Bicket deferred sentence on McGill until February 20 and continued bail.

Woman admits to giro fraud
What's a 'WOMANH'
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
