One of Wick’s longest-serving postal workers has retired due to ill health after almost 43 years delivering the mail.
Gordon Stewart had a get-together with colleagues past and present in the Seaforth Highlanders’ Club at the weekend.
Gordon was presented with a sum of cash by Alex McDonald, customer operations manager at Royal Mail’s Wick delivery office.
