SIR - The letter from Michael T Leahy (T&A, May 14) about the appalling state of our local postal services was spot on.
It has been blatantly obvious for at least three years that we do not receive post on a daily basis. Sometimes maybe twice a week if we are lucky. Other things are obviously prioritised.
The Bradford Delivery Office must be in a terrible state for this to be the case, which begs the question as to why Royal Mail hasn't sorted it out long ago.
More staff? Better management? Proper controls?
That this all continues really is scandalous and needs properly dealing with once and for all at the highest level within Royal Mail.
Perhaps our local MP could (again) get more involved and this time have some effect?
