A woman said she will “never use Evri again” after doorbell camera footage appears to show a woman taking a parcel from her porch.
Toni Fryer says the woman, a passenger in an Evri van, delivered two parcels then walked away with another delivered by the same firm earlier that day.
Police have now launched an investigation into the incident.
Toni, 47, said the first parcel, a Christmas present for her son, arrived just after 10am.
The driver was seen on her Ring doorbell dropping off the parcel and later sent a text to confirm the delivery.
Later that day, at around 11am, the woman arrived at her home in Timsbury, near Romsey, to deliver two more parcels.
However, this time her Ring doorbell footage appears to show the woman tucking something under her coat before running off back to the van.
Toni, who was not at home for the deliveries, said: “I asked my partner to bring the three parcels into the house, but he insisted there were only two left on the porch.
“I pulled up the doorbell footage and couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”
To make matters worse, Toni was also expecting a fourth parcel to be delivered on December 15, which she says never arrived.
The mum said she contacted Evri about both the missing parcel and the missing delivery and said she received an acknowledgement about the undelivered parcel, but got no response relating to the alleged theft.
“The most annoying thing is that you can’t contact them for love nor money,” she said.
“Evri have taken no responsibility and their customer service is shocking."
She added: “I just wish the situation was taken more seriously. I will never use Evri again.”
A spokesperson for Evri said: “Our priority is to handle every parcel with care, and we take claims such as these very seriously.
“We are investigating this as a priority and our customer service team is reaching out to the customer to offer their support.”
Toni reported the incident to Hampshire police and a spokesperson told the Daily Echo: “We received a report that between 10.10am and 11.05am on December 15, the passenger in a delivery van stole a parcel from the doorstep of an address in The Millburns, Timsbury.
“Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting 44250564804.”
Toni warned of the impact it could have had should the parcel have been something far more important.
She said: “This could have been someone’s medicine, or something really important.
“I just wish the situation was taken more seriously. I will never use Evri again.
“The drivers need to have better background checks as some of them just can’t be trusted.”
