Is there a max amount of time on trial?
I've just had my contract renewed for another 6 months but just wondering if that'll put me out of the 'trialist' stage, ie will I be subject to 'permanent' attendance procedures than compared with trialists etc?

I was on trial for 3 months and than they extended it to another 3 months, and I was than advice by the duty manager that after 6months is up, they have to decide to either let me go or make me permanent, something to do with law apparently, anyway I was made permanent after the 6 months was up, I hope you get your contract sorted soon.

1 year is the max, you can come off trail after 6 months but this all depends on the dom, so suck up for 6 months and then give hell lol

I have a four month contract which started in early Feb, and I've been told it just keeps rolling. How long for nobody seems to know.
Would love some clarification if anybody knows? 40 hours FT by the way.

They will keep you on trial for 1 year so they can pay you with slightly lower rate until you become permanent. It is one of evil's plans to save a few quids by making you nervous about job security. If you are there for longer than 9 months you should be ok.

I can't believe this means I won't even get the £20 payrise yet. Damn cheapstakes!
