InPost has announced it has reached the milestone of 12,000 lockers in the UK, with the latest 1,000 rolled out in recent months. It says this growth reflects the rising demand for convenient and out-of-home delivery solutions from customers and retailers.
The milestone is part of the company’s strategy to grow its UK footprint. It recently acquired Yodel, a parcel delivery company, supporting the objective to unite out-of-home and to-door delivery under one proposition.
Neil Kuschel, UK CEO at InPost, commented, “Reaching 12,000 lockers marks another important step in our UK growth story. Locker usage has quickly become the go-to choice for millions of UK consumers who are looking for convenient, secure and hassle-free out-of-home delivery services.
“Today, around 75% of people in the UK’s three largest cities live within a seven-minute walk of an InPost out-of-home point, up from 65% a year ago. We are continuing to expand that accessibility so every community can benefit from quick, convenient and reliable parcel services.”
InPost UK reported parcel volumes of 65.4 million in Q2 2025, a 177% year-on-year increase.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
