What's the CWU doing about that?

It’s not me, but the non legacy in my office. It doesn’t look fair, and even if the contract says work 5 days out of 7, they should not be making 1 in 4 Sundays mandatory. The contract is vague to say the least

They’ll just say Sunday working is in the contract, which it is. It should be spread out fairly, but this is RM and they’ll do as they please

They can't force you to work a extra day overtime is optional

They are scheduled to work 5 days over 7 so its not an extra day its just Sunday being one of their scheduled work days

They are talking about working 1 sunday as a scheduled working day every 4 weeks rather than every 7 weeks

Which leads to another question, as employees they should be entitled to vote on any office shift pattern but their contract would not allow them to work any pattern offered. Am I missing something?

Admin needs to get rid of trolls like you, not the ones who ask genuine work based questions (presumably you are talking to me?)
