RMCtv : Piloting our Universal Service Reform proposal

Post by POSTMAN »

Our pilot sites working to our Universal Service Reform proposal have started welcoming the changes.

In this programme, we’re at Newton Mearns Delivery Office to hear about the experience directly from the team.

Universal Service - the future of letter deliveries
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

No industrial and political independent trade union representative would ever allow the employer to define them as 'my representative'. Trade Union representatives are the members representative and answer to the members, no one else. The CWU is so deep in partnership with the industry it's ceased to be an independent trade union.

The CWU has no educational program that gives it's representatives the knowledge of who they are and why they exist. The CWU has favoured wholesale partnership over independent industrial and political trade unionism. The way the CWU carries on you'd think workers had trade Union representatives as a result of some kind act by the bosses. We got representatives through hard fought battles and only got representation because we won it. We have never been given anything . The CWU just pisses all over our proud history.

The manager saying ''my CWU rep'' says something.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next
