Royal Mail has awarded its rating contract for more than 2,500 UK properties to DTZ.
Following an open tender in the Official Journal of the European Union, DTZ was selected to manage the estate.
DTZ will now be tasked with finding significant savings across the Royal Mail’s property portfolio.
Royal Mail started looking for ratings and property management advisors six months ago.
Earlier this month it was announced that Atisreal had replaced NB Real Estate to manage Royal Mail’s properties in London.
Atisreal also advises on its east and west portfolios in the UK.
Sanderson Weatherall has retained its instruction to manage the north of England portfolio, totalling 500 properties, J&E Shepherd manages 300 Scottish propeties and Osborne King manages 11 northern Irish properties.
