While RMC was offline an LTB 643/08 was posted on the www.cwu.org website on 15 august 2008 this LTB contains matter's of great importance for all who work in royalmail!. here is a small summary of item's, mail center's royalmail said they intend to progress mail center rationalisation, on deliveries royalmail want to engage CWU in developing a new delivery model alongside the introduction of walk sequencing machines, network royalmail envisage reduction of rdc's! I now urge you all to look carefully at this LTB for this could be heading for more industrial unrest and conflict with royalmail!.

I think everybody will be waiting on the outcome of the Postal Review which will determine the direction of the Postal Industry.
We all know Royal Mail want's us all to start even later with Automation around the corner but will they be alllowed to do this? Thousands of jobs will be lost through automation and with the pension issue unresolved i think its only a matter of time before the ballot papers come through our door again.
