I would hope not, last we heard from Ward and Furey was that the company managers needed to change their attitude, since then we have seen offices walk out, folk who are suspended given insane sentences for trumped up charges and Coms refusing to allow some offices overtime to clear the USO. The attacks continue….

There is no sign from the company that they are ready for joint working like it states 75 times in the agreement.

The ballots will come by 25th with option A 'Yes' or B 'i refuse to vote' to give the snivelling cwu exactly what they want. Which was the last union to turn against its members ?

I’m assuming there’s still a lot going on behind the scenes in both RM and CWU camps , this extra thousand pounds payment that’s been touted around still hasn’t been confirmed and RM are still not co operating on the ground regarding USO compliance so we are in a strange place right now which leaves us in nowhere land regarding the ballot.

I agree. How can the members be asked to vote on an agreement that one party has already ignored before it is even implemented.

Dave Ward put his big boy pants on last week and made his 147th ultimatum during this dispute, this time management have to fully agree to sort the mess that revisions have caused in nearly every office or the ballot might not be put out this week.
Expect a weak as piss non binding token joint statement either tomorrow or Tuesday and the ballot to go ahead, followed by lots of union back slapping propaganda about them pulling Royal Mail management “back in line” or some other nonsense. Meanwhile Royal Mail will plough on with no revisions being reversed/sorted.
Just vote no.

Why the delay?

That deal will look s**t a hundred years from now.
There's no point in them delaying the vote any longer than necessary.

There is no point in having the ballot when the workforce are rebelling against their own union.
It would be playing right into Royal Mail's hands and destroy the CWU.
I think the ballot will be pulled and we will go into a tactical retreat.

I don't think so.
Suicide for the CWU.

There is no evidence that the workers are rebelling. This forum is not representative of the entire union membership. I wouldn’t like to call the result but I can still see a yes vote being the outcome. Hopefully for us all.

There are no rebels in my office most have accepted the deal for what it is. We’ve had our revision the majority of walks seem to clear and the management don’t seem to fussed if we cut off or leave stuff in the frame.

It will probably be a 70/30 yes vote but I do see a big rebellion coming as many will see this as a last stand. I do think many will cast their votes without reading one page of the agreement.
