THE Dunfermline Foodbank received a generous donation from The Communication Workers Union (CWU).
A local postie, Bruce Thomson, delivered approximately 50kgs of food to the Pitreavie Business Park from the CWU Number 2 branch.
Sharing the news on its Facebook page, the Dunfermline Foodbank wrote: "We received a donation from CWU Scotland No 2 Branch via our local Posties - we can't believe they are thinking of others whilst struggling themselves - thank you all so much! Feeling extremely grateful."
Sandra Beveridge, project manager for the Foodbank, added: "A local postie brought it to us. It was donated from their union and the local postie in the area brought down their donation of food, it was about six bags worth!"
