The second Post Office Vehicle Gathering is taking place this coming Sunday at the Amberley Working Museum (
www.amberleymuseum.co.uk). So far we have more than thirty restored GPO or Post Office vehicles promised for the event from members and friends of the Post Office Vehicle Club (
www.povehclub.org.uk). Oldest vehicle is a 1933 BSA Motor Cycle Combination with Albions, a pre-war Morris Minor, Morris Zs, Morris Minors, a Ford Anglia and plenty of BSA Bantam motor cycles used on telegram delivery for 1947 to 1982.
The Museum is situated in West Sussex on the B2139, midway between Arundel and Storrington, adjacent to Amberley Railway Station (hourly service from Victoria). Open 10 am to 5.30 pm. Sunday 20th April 2008.
