Re: Priority link for christmas casuals
No haven't received a Priority Link yet having worked under Royal Mail Payroll as a 2021 (Nov-Jan) Seasonal Sorter.
Don't think the Christmas jobs have gone live yet on Royal Mail website (usually mid Sept onwards)
However I found THIS LINK worked .
So far completed application steps 1 & 2 successfully though was expecting to complete a 5 year previous work history which this year the online application hasn't prompted?

It’s live on https://jobs.royalmailgroup.com/ as of yesterday as well.
Our MC Noticeboard has a link and also one to Angard - but there’s nothing on the standard Angard site yet.

Re: Priority link for christmas casuals
I've applied through the priority link on 05/09/2022, completed the final steps of getting my ID check at the post office on 13/09/2022 & received my DBS few days later. Received an email saying they received my completed application and will be in touch with an offer. Been a week since and still heard nothing. Wonder if that's the same with everyone else?

Feels like we've been ignored. 2 weeks gone and still nothing. Usually, would've gotten an offer 2 or 3 days after completing the application like in the last 2 years. The strike should not be affecting the recruitment team.I completed my application on the 8th September and have since received 2 update emails that they are finalising the shift patterns and will be in touch. It's a bit silly of them to keep people waiting like this when a lot of companies are desperate for workers. People will just assume they have been unsucessful, remove their application and go elsewhere.casualworker2022 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 14:28Feels like we've been ignored. 2 weeks gone and still nothing. At the moment RM couldn’t run a piss-up in a brewery.

After 3 weeks finally got an offer and as usual not my preferred shift time. I honestly prefer if RM gone back the old way and organised the registration event at the venue, that way I could choose my own shift instead letting them decide the offer.

Yes Id prefer that too.casualworker2022 wrote: ↑06 Oct 2022, 12:12After 3 weeks finally got an offer and as usual not my preferred shift time. Since the online application started in Aug 2022 they have kept with it to avoid paying agency staff to do face to face interviews.
I wait over 3.1/2 weeks for my OFFER letter.
The starting date I have is 3.1/2 weeks later than the previous 2 years. I can't see why that should be? Waiting for strike days to end?
I accepting the offer in less than 24 hours.
2 years ago the pay rate was £8.70 and hour for LATES, it rose to £11.60 last year and has increased again this year to such an extent it puts you on par with an Angard Worker higher rate so does no longer make a seasonal worker more cost affective.
