CWU and RM are in court this week over pay being docked for some of our colleagues cutting off and/or having a meeting.
This all happened back in SEP 07.

DSM says at meeting,whole office to be stopped 20mins for original meeting on Thursday.
6 who cut off were to be docked a further 40 mins for the delay tactic in going out!!!
DSM would not listen to any thing from the rep and staff,like only 1 was on the reps van,the meeting was part of the grace break sanctioned by the Lino,the Lino delaying the rep going out,or the amount of work in.
Apparently he just walked out laughing.
Bout 20 mins later DSM call SE28 to canteen,after being told it was both offices at the meeting,blames SE2 and that SE2 are playing up and tells them they are docked 20mins as well.
It gets better.
Office hammered with work,bout 9-15 DSM tell DOM and Lino to tell SE2 that as they are not on their break yet,they are on a go slow and there will be NO CUT OFFS.
More arguments DOM and Lino shrug shoulders and say 'It's what i'm told to tell you'.
DSM shrugs shoulders and says 'It's what i'm told to tell you'.
Area rep contacts top London Manager who said to him 'Why ring me,you should be on our side'!!!
Area contacts CWU HQ and is ordered there as they will deal with it,as RM are out to get SE2 for being on the vans.
Everything had to be tied up and taken out,most left office around 11 some 11-30 for a 1-45 finish,mass cut off the order of the day.
Chances are more detail tomm,and no it's not made up
What's happeneing now is the lino in question has denied giving permission for the meeting between SE2 and SE28.
So some of the questions we could see in court is..........
QC:Dear sir,did you not realise that somehow 60+ staff disappeared from the shop floor without a trace for 20 whole minutes.
QC:If you did not realise this what the feck where you doing in that time.
QC:If you did see 60+members of your team start to disappear,why did you not ask someone what the feck was going on.
QC:Lino fellah,are you lieing cause you screwed up.
Also seems there are 2 SW Lon offices that are part of a court case as well for pay stoppages,Streatham is one.
