Good days pay for a good days work

Post by Tattlee58 »

I would like to know what is deemed to be a good days work? At the moment it seems that the the more you do the more they want? You are rewarded by being efficient with more work 🤔 Whilst if you are not so good at your job you are rewarded with work being taken off? There must be a better way of showing the good workers or the grafters that they are appreciated 🤷‍♂️ If Parcel force wants to hold on to their decent drivers things must change 😎

Always been the same.
The more you do the more they expect.
Never been a fair system.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Aaron

So when I joined, people told me that the way that rex had been introduced was too restrictive, so the feedback in response to the changes we've made to rex has been very positive overall, so including but people are surprised positively how quickly we took action.
So I've said to them, please take what we've done on rex as a symbol of how I want us to work together going forward.

Driver1

It's because with original rex obviously, that tells you what drop you're going to go next, that drop could be anywhere in your van, because obviously, you can't load your van because you don't know how rex was gonna do it.
When management said we can now withdraw our line. deliver the parcels the way we deliver them the way we load our van, that's just changed overnight.
We've just got our job back, it's fantastic.

Driver2

Well I've noticed a big change in people's attitudes in the last few weeks. a lot of lads are drawing their line to find it easier especially the lads who do town centres, of course, because they were really going around the town center ten to fifteen times, now, of course. the draw the line that can draw the way they want to deliver their parcels.
