Re: Sunday Pay Rates
£14.04 is Sunday O/T rate, I'm a new starter and was continually told would be on more than normal rate for Sundays even thou us new folk are contracted on them. In an ongoing dispute about it as to date only been paid flat rate bar when actually over my 5hr shift, I should know if I have been backdated/amended by Friday so will reply further later this week.
Be keen to hear from anybody else thou.

What's the difference between O/W & S/A? I don't no what the abbreviation S/A means guessing, Sunday allowance, but still don't no how that differs.

Re: Sunday Pay Rates
There are several different rates.
The contracted hours (if you work Sunday as your contracted hours) is about £6 extra so £17-18 p/h
OT & SA is £14ish p/h
There is a pay grade sheet available with all of this information on (admin probably has a link on here)

Re: Sunday Pay Rates
Don't worry I've seen and used that to date to argue my case, the £6 an hour you refer too is for LA1 which is not the average worker so think you're a bit off with that on my understanding. it's 14.04(only been here 5 weeks) maybe more for "experienced posties" but nowhere near 17/18 for Operational grade.weary_posty wrote: ↑29 Jul 2021, 17:54There are several different rates.

Re: Sunday Pay Rates
Whilst we are on the topic of pay, can anyone help me out with the Supplements on Page 3 of the Pay rate guide. Do people get driving allowances, collection allowances and processing/walk bundling or is it all rolled into the Delivery functional supplement?

Rates accurate if multiplying by 1.01 as of now.

Re: Sunday Pay Rates
Do you know of anyone actually getting £5/6 an hour on top of standard rate thou? 14-14.50 seems the normal(14.04 for most or more if in London I assume?), that table is a bit misleading and I've used it to argue my case a couple of times in my short tenure.weary_posty wrote: ↑29 Jul 2021, 18:25Apologies… bottom of page 4

Re: Sunday Pay Rates
We do in our office. In the end they were so desperate for Sunday staff they printed off a sheet to show how much you could earn by committing to Sundays and briefed us all on it one morning

driving allowances : not really anymore unless it's a large high top van
collection allowances : collection colleagues
processing/walk bundling : MC's and walk bundling centres.
The delivery supplement, is for delivery staff only. Monney is made up of old D2D monies.
The clues are in their name...

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
