Hi everyone,
My question is, do you think Royalmail will try and go down the same route as Bristish Airways in respect of the way that they have imposed contract changes to their staff?

Worldwide Fleet — the higher paid flight attendants operating long haul flights
Euro Fleet — the higher paid flight attendants operating short haul flights
Mixed Fleet — the lower paid flight attendants operating both short and long haul flights.
10 years ago they brought in the mixed fleet scale for new entrants but because of issues between the different groups they have to staff each flight completely from one pool.
This is obviously ridiculous and the reason they're trying to force through change, the reason they've got away with it is because there's fewer and fewer on the higher scale.
These conditions are very particular to BA and not something you could get away with at Royal Mail.
