MORAY'S SNP MSP Richard Lochhead has praised local postmen and women for the "grand job" they are doing during the coronavirus lockdown.
Mr Lochhead had specific praise for Forres postie Caroline Barr, who he says always works with a smile and is very popular in his area of Elgin.

Royal Mail posties are considered key workers are still working full-time – with their influence being felt by some throughout Moray now more than ever.
Richard Lochhead said: "Given the current lockdown, the local postie may be the only person some people will see at their door over many days. Our local Royal Mail staff are doing a grand job bringing letters and parcels to our homes each and every day.
"There is no doubt that our local posties turning up on our doorstep with a smile on their face is helping us get through this difficult time.
"In my own case, our local postie in Elgin, Caz, always has a smile and she is very popular in the community.
"Caz and all of her colleagues throughout Moray are really appreciated by the public and proving themselves to be not only essential workers but thoughtful and caring at the same time."
