I have recently moved house and I applied for a transfer to a different office.
I received a phone call from recruitment on 23rd October and was offered the transfer which I accepted. The lady I spoke to advised that she would send the relevant forms to my manager and that he and the manager of the office to which I was transferring would have to agree a date. Unfortunately I have no contact details for the lady I spoke with.
I have asked my manager on several occasions where the transfer is up to but he says he has not heard anything. I have emailed the manager at the new office to keep him in the loop and let him know that I have accepted the transfer.
I suspect that my manager is dragging his feet as we are quite short staffed and Christmas is not far away. I am worried however that the manager of the office I am transferring to may run out of patience if the transfer is not completed soon.
Does anybody have any information on who I could contact to check on the progress of the transfer and to give my manager a nudge?
Thanks for your help.

Nice one, I'll give them a ring tomorrow.Newbie001 wrote:Did the same with us. Just keep phoning HR, there is a time limit that manager has to adhere to, think its 28 days. Coming up to christmas they WILL delay till new year if you let them.
