You would get your leave back as cant be on both leave and sick
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

What happens if you work Wallington weeks (five weeks of 6 day weeks and the sixth week off on rotation) but you are signed off for recovery from an operation during the rotation week?

Can you carry forward the rotation week to when you have returned to work, or do you just have to "suck it up" and lose your rotation week?

If you are entitled to claw back the lost rotation week, is there anything in writing you can point to in any agreements, if a manager disputes any entitlement to this?

Your rotation week is in effect days off not holiday so no you can't carry your week off anywhere.

Afraid you going to have to "suck it up" as its not annual leave.

Thanks for the replies about the Wallington week. Not sure I understand the logic though, as in the run up, I would have worked an extra day each week and not been paid for them, so it seems a bit harsh to lose the normal rotation week off, during the period when being unable to work following recovery from the op.

When you are on the sick during annual leave you will only get 5 days annual leave back as we are paid for 5 days a week, the Wallington week is built up of your day off so when you work for 6 days over 5 weeks you are building up a week off of unpaid days so therefore your week off is technically your rest week and not annual leave so therefore you can not claim it back if you are on the sick
